From April 17 to 18, Meng Ting, Secretary of the College Party Committee, and Liu Zhihai, Dean of the College, led a delegation to Nanjing, Jiangsu, to attend the "Integrating for Momentum, Advancing towards Innovation" – Seminar on "Double Integration and Double Promotion" for Physics Schools of the Seven Universities Affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Jointly hosted by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Nanjing University of Science and Technology, the seminar aimed to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focus on the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, further promote the in-depth integration of party building and professional work, and jointly enhance the quality of talent cultivation. Liu Lijing, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee, Jiang Haili, Vice Dean, Zhang Xiaojun, Administrative Specialist, and staff from the Talent Cultivation Office attended the meeting.

On the morning of the 17th, at the special report and exchange meeting on student work, the deputy secretaries of the Party committees of the physics schools of the seven universities delivered reports and carried out exchange discussions on themes such as the brand construction of student work and the ideological and political education of college students in the new era. Liu Lijing made an exchange report on the college's academic style construction, growth services, party and league construction, ideological guidance, social practice, innovation and entrepreneurship, etc.

On the afternoon of the 17th, participants carried out a joint theme Party Day activity, visiting the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders together. Under the guidance of the memorial hall's docents, everyone deeply understood the tragic history around the fall of Nanjing and the magnificent epic of the Chinese nation's Anti-Japanese War through visiting historical sites, studying written historical materials, and watching video records. Every participant was deeply alarmed, vowing to take history as a mirror, strive for self-improvement, and contribute wisdom and strength to realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation based on their own positions.

Participants also visited the One-Stop Student Community of Tianmu Lake Campus of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Simulated Flight Laboratory of the General Aviation and Flight College, etc. The construction philosophy and development plan of NUAA's Tianmu Lake Campus brought new inspirations and reflections on talent cultivation to the attendees. In the future, the physics schools of the seven universities will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, injecting new vitality and impetus into improving the quality of talent cultivation.

This seminar further improved the collaborative education system of the physics schools of the seven universities and built a shared platform for "grand ideological and political education" resources. The physics schools of the seven universities will continue to give play to the leading role of Party building, empower the high-quality development of the schools through a series of "Party Building +" joint learning and co-construction activities, and jointly create a new situation for the career development of the physics schools of the seven universities.
