University leaders visited the college to conduct research on the work of the new semester

On March 11th, Yin Jingwei, a member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and vice president of the university, came to the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering to conduct research and inspect the work of the new semester. In the conference room of the Science Building, Yin Jingwei listened to the reports from the leadership team of the college on the return of teachers and students, safety work, teaching work, postgraduate education management and services, scientific research work and other aspects.


Yin Jingwei pointed out that the year 2024 is a crucial year for our university to achieve the "14th Five-Year Plan" and also a key year for the university to comprehensively promote comprehensive reforms. The leadership team of the college should continuously raise their positions, grasp the situation, form a consensus, seize opportunities, and plan for innovation, so as to form a powerful combat effectiveness in the three aspects of integrating science and education, integrating industry and education, and consolidating and improving the integrated national strategic system and capabilities. It is hoped that the vast majority of faculty and staff in the college will fully understand the significance of comprehensive reforms and devote themselves to all kinds of work in the new semester with a more energetic working state and a high-spirited mental outlook.


Subsequently, accompanied by the leaders of the college, Yin Jingwei visited the scientific research laboratories in the Science Building, learned about the laboratory safety systems, the use of instruments and equipment and other situations, and had cordial conversations with the teachers.
