About December 14th, 2023, to fully utilize the advantageous industrial resources of the enterprises in the High-End Intelligent Equipment Industry-Education Integration Education Alliance and the practice bases at both the university and college levels, and to solidly support the professional practice of the 2022-grade professional degree postgraduate students, the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering held an Outstanding Engineer Leadership Salon. Mr. Yang Kejun, a senior engineer from Harbin Xinguang Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. and a 2023-grade engineering doctoral student in our school, was invited to conduct an exchange and sharing. The lecture was presided over by Professor Liu Jianlong, the assistant dean, and all the professional degree postgraduate students in the school participated in this activity.
Engineer Yang Kejun first introduced the basic situation of the company and the research and development process of its products. He presented the composition and working principle of the typical optical imaging guidance hardware-in-the-loop simulation system and conducted a comparative analysis of different forms of hardware-in-the-loop simulation systems. Finally, he also had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the students regarding some practical internship and practice issues. All the participating students said that the lecture was rich in content and they benefited a lot from it.

This Outstanding Engineer Leadership Salon is one of the series of practical activities of the "Seedling Cultivation" Workshop for Outstanding Engineers in our college. It invites enterprise technical experts and enterprise mentors to conduct special discussions on typical cases regarding the research ideas and methods of a certain engineering practice project, so as to cultivate students' systematic thinking ability to solve difficult problems in engineering projects during the professional practice process.
