Wang Shuai, Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Optical Engineering from Nankai University in 2018 and his Doctoral Degree in Optical Engineering from Jinan University in 2021. From 2021 to 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of Precision Instruments, Tsinghua University. In 2023, he joined the International Joint Research Center for Metamaterials and Nano-Optics, Harbin Engineering University, on a full-time basis.
His main research interests include multi-dimensional optical field manipulation and sensing with optical metasurfaces, photonic angular momentum, and plasmonic metasurfaces. He has published numerous papers in top professional journals such as
Physical Review Letters,
Science Advances,
Light: Science & Applications, and
Nano Letters. His work has accumulated over 1,800 Google Scholar citations with an h-index of 14. His research achievements have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers and included in the "Three-Year Excellent Achievements Exhibition of Optical Metamaterials" by the Chinese Society of Optical Engineering in 2024.
