Zhang Yaxun, Associate Professor, Supervisor of Master’s and Doctoral Candidates in Optical Engineering, Supervisor of Professional Master’s Candidates in Electronic Information (Optics), and recipient of provincial and ministerial-level talent titles. His main research interests include fiber-integrated optics, optical fiber sensing technology, special optical fiber technology, optical fiber optical tweezers, and biological waveguides.

Over the past five years, he has published more than 60 SCI-indexed papers and filed over 50 invention patents, among which nearly 40 have been authorized. In the past three years, the students he supervised have won the National Scholarship for Postgraduates 8 times, obtained more than 30 awards in various scientific and technological innovation competitions, and 4 of his graduating students have been awarded the title of Outstanding Graduate.
