Jin Lei
Born in March 1983 in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, Dr. Jin Lei is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and recipient of National-level Talent titles. He obtained his PhD in Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, The University of Tokyo, Japan in 2014.
His fundamental research focuses on fiber lasers and amplifiers, optical frequency combs, and optical environmental sensing; he has also carried out applications in precision measurement and processing based on cutting-edge technologies such as mid-infrared optical frequency combs, high-power ultrashort pulse laser sources, and supercontinuum spectra.
He joined Harbin Engineering University in 2022 and is currently a Professor at the Qingdao Innovation and Development Base of Harbin Engineering University.
