He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2016, and his Master's and Doctoral degrees from the University of Tokyo in 2018 and 2022 respectively, under the supervision of Optical Society Fellows Shinji Yamashita and Sze Yun Set.
He has engaged in research related to femtosecond fiber laser technology at the Institute for Advanced Study, University of Tokyo for many years.
He has participated in 1 S-class basic research project and 1 A-class basic research project funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), as well as 1 research project of the Strategic Creative Research Promotion Program of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), and holds 1 Japanese invention patent.
He worked as a Senior Engineer in the Research Department of the Optical Product Line at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in 2022, and joined Harbin Engineering University at the end of 2023.
His current research mainly focuses on optical saturable absorbers, femtosecond fiber lasers and amplifiers, optical frequency combs, and nonlinear optics.
