Distinguished Lecture Series on Physics
Lecturer: Sir Michael Berry
Lecture Overview
Sir Michael Berry will deliver two academic lectures. The first lecture will introduce the history and current status of geometric phases, and propose unresolved problems related to geometric phases. The second lecture will illustrate the distinct forms and related phenomena of optical fields across different hierarchical levels—geometric optics, wave optics, and polarization—through the lens of optical singularities.
