Group leader: Professor Zhang Jianzhong, deputy director of Key Laboratory of In-Fiber Integrated Optics of Ministry of Education, deputy director of Heilongjiang optical society, editors of "Optics Express" and other three international journal , a senior researcher at the university of New South Wales, Australia, Japan cherry visiting professor, distinguished professor at Suranaree University of Technology, etc. He has presided over more than 20 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, key research and development plans of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and technical projects of enterprises and public institutions. He has published more than 170 SCI papers(with 5 invited reviews), held more than 40 authorized invention patents, and editor of "Handbook of optical fiber". He has served as the chairman of international conferences, special chairman, academic committee member, and more than 30 specially invited reports. He led the group to innovate in the whole chain of optical / fiber materials-devices-sensing applications: carried out basic frontier research on ultra-wideband active optical fiber, silica optical fiber additive manufacturing, distributed evaluation of optical fiber devices, and won the first prize of Natural Science of Heilongjiang Province; He developed bridge optical fiber health monitoring system, optical fiber health monitoring system for UHV conductor dancing, laser crystal bonding surface evaluation system based on low coherence light, energy component residual stress online intelligent monitoring system; He realize the first ocean dynamic photoelectric composite cable with optical fiber shape perception, solve the sensing problems in many industries, won the second prize of Technical Invention of Ministry of Education and the second prize of Technical Invention of State Grid. His students also win more than 10 awards, such as Excellent Nomination Award of Chinese Optical Engineering Society and first prize of various provincial and ministerial science and technology innovation competitions.

Recruitment intention
Sincerely recruit outstanding doctoral graduates from universities at home and abroad to join the team, meet the following conditions are preferred:

Ø Optical / fiber optic devices, optical / fiber optic sensing, signal processing, optoelectronic information related research direction;
Ø Working and learning experience in an internationally renowned team in this field is preferred.
For the postdocs who can undertake the work related to the project, the research group will give them corresponding subsidies according to their contributions.

The team plans to enroll 3-4 doctoral students / year (optical engineering) and 15 master students / year (optical engineering, optical, electronic information).
